Pulse Concierge
Behavioral intent detection and AI-generated nudges on your storefront. Pulse runs on shop, product, cart, and checkout pages to turn browsing behavior into conversions.
What is Pulse Concierge?#
Pulse Concierge is CognitiveCart’s conversion layer. It loads on WooCommerce storefront pages (shop, single product, cart, checkout) and detects behavioral intent—signals like variant cycling, cart abandonment, or coupon interest. When conditions are met, it can surface AI-generated nudges to encourage the visitor to complete a purchase or take the next step.
Where it runs#
Pulse is active only on:
- Shop page
- Single product page
- Cart page
- Checkout page
It does not run on other WordPress pages or in the admin. This keeps the script focused and avoids unnecessary load.
Trigger groups and intent triggers#
Pulse uses trigger groups and intent triggers to decide when to show a nudge. Examples of intent triggers include:
- Variant cycling — Visitor changes product variation repeatedly (e.g. size or color) without adding to cart.
- Cart stall — Items in cart but no checkout progress for a period.
- Coupon hover — Visitor shows interest in the coupon field (e.g. focus or hover) without applying one.
When a trigger fires, the middleware can return an AI-generated nudge message. You can configure and tune trigger groups and behavior from the Intelligence Dashboard (Pulse tab) if your setup exposes those options.
Kill-Switch and Pulse#
Pulse respects the global Kill-Switch. When the Kill-Switch is active, all autonomous agent-related activity is suspended, including Pulse. So you can turn off both AI checkout and Pulse with one toggle.
Pulse may require the CognitiveCart middleware/Worker to be configured for AI-generated nudges. Check the Intelligence Dashboard and your Worker setup for Pulse-specific settings.
