CognitiveCart is the agentic commerce gateway for WooCommerce—making your store discoverable and transactable by AI agents via UCP/ACP protocols.

What is CognitiveCart?#

CognitiveCart is a WooCommerce extension that bridges your store with the agentic AI economy. AI agents (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and others) can discover your catalog, browse products, and complete purchases using standardized UCP (Universal Commerce Protocol) and ACP (Agent Commerce Protocol) endpoints. No custom integrations or API keys are required for discovery—once the plugin is active, your store is visible to compliant crawlers and agents.

In practice: a customer or an AI assistant can find your products, add them to a cart, and checkout. You stay in control with an optional Kill-Switch to suspend all autonomous agent activity at any time.

How does it work?#

The plugin works in three main steps:

  1. Install & activate — Install CognitiveCart and WooCommerce. The UCP manifest is served automatically at /.well-known/ucp with no configuration required.
  2. Add agentic data — Optionally add GEO metadata (UN/CEFACT fields) to products to improve your Retrieval Qualification Score. AI crawlers discover your catalog and capabilities via the manifest and Abilities API.
  3. Agents & Pulse — Optional: connect Stripe for AI-facilitated checkout and transaction logging. Enable Pulse Concierge for behavioral intent detection and AI-generated nudges on your storefront.

All core features are free. GEO Suite, Pulse Concierge, UCP Manifest, Abilities API, Kill-Switch, and the Intelligence Dashboard are included. Connect Stripe when you’re ready for AI-facilitated checkout—a small fee applies only on those transactions.

  • Pulse Concierge — Behavioral intent detection and AI-generated nudges. Trigger groups and intent triggers (variant cycling, cart stall, coupon hover, etc.) drive conversions.
  • Stripe Connect & Checkout — Optional AI-facilitated checkout sessions and transaction log (Chat vs Agent source).
  • Intelligence Dashboard — Real-time view: UCP status, crawl health (AI bot visits), Pulse activity, Kill-Switch, and Retrieval Score.
  • Kill-Switch — Emergency toggle to suspend all autonomous agent activity. You decide when AI can interact with your store.
